It's been a crazy year!

It has been such a crazy year and my apologies for not posting on here but town has been quiet!

We did some remodelling, got a webpage up, have some changes in the directors, brought back some of the favorites like the movie theater...but somethings will never change in Sky View County!

We started out as a single region for family and friends to get together and just relax!
Are we crazy busy with events?
No and we probably never will be.

BUT....we are warm (even when it snows lol)and welcoming.
We live by old world values like compassion and respect.

We embrace that humor is the best medicine for what troubles you and we will always be an escape from the real world, every day grind that all of us march each day.

If it's been awhile since your last visit...I hope you'll find a moment to come sit by the lake under the gazebo and enjoy a hot cocoa by the fire. Kick your feet up and listen to the birds, crickets, waves and fire. Give yourself a few minutes to just breath and relax. You deserve it!

There are grid problems at the moment: massive numbers of people have been logged out, and many are unable to log back in.

Don't panic, just wait it out. And please don't swamp the support group.

A slow moving upper low over BC continues to bring winter. Snow will continue into Friday before gradually tapering off. Total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres are expected by Saturday morning. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

That's right, residents using the [Life2] system now have public washrooms. They will be refilled only so often though, so please.....if the washroom need "tending" leave a notecard in the Mayor's mailbox at townhall.
